SIGMUN Live in Kuala Lumpur || Sunday, 2nd June 2013
SIGMUN; a Pyschedelic Rock band from Bandung that starting out in 2011 gonna play in Rumah Api, Ampang on 2nd June 2013 with 4 others Singapore and Malaysia band.
Featuring 4 members, they are much influence by the sound of modern Swedish-Psych-Rock band like Witchcraft, and Graveyard. Already come out with excellent self release 4-songs demo and a 3 way split LP with two others Indonesia band Suri and Jelaga, Sigmun continue with great expedition toward the progressive future. They will organize a micro tour, playing one show in Singapore and one show in Kuala Lumpur. This bands feature a member of old good PDX bands like POISON IDEA, RESIST, DEFIANCE, DETESTATION, and SEVERED HEAD OF STATE. That's impressive right?
They play a raw version of Rock N Roll driven punk rock music with some element of late Poison Idea, Ass-Cobra-era turbonegra, and combine with lotsa Motor-punk riff inside. But the feelings is more to the hardcore/punk kind of things. The tape includes 9 songs from Making through the night LP, and all the songs that feature on their previous EP release, 2 songs from “Buzz off / It Don’t Have to Be Like This” 7" , songs from “Gotta Get Away From You” 7" , “Cold Cold Rain / the Things I Know 7", and “Sweet Little Thing” 7" . Daighila formed out in the early 2000 with tons of solid release. A successful effort of creating their own signature of sound, combining emoviolence, powerhouse and hardcore punk tunes can be heard from one release to another release.
